The 18-hole par 71 championship golf course with its distinctively sail shaped clubhouse was again the location for the 7th Edition of 'An Evening of Inspiration' meeting. Not many are aware it was home to the first golf academy in the Middle East. The cool breeze on the evening of 9th March 2019 added to the ambiance of the event attended by sixty plus passionate amateur photographers from The RPS and Shutter Bugs Creative Forum. 

The presentations ranged from conceptual to nature, from culture to experimental, from travel to a photographers journey. Alan Millin presenting 'A visit to the Dentist'Christopher Osborne, ARPS presenting 'Where the Sun always Shines'Thirumalai Ganesh S., presenting 'My Journey in Photography'.The Compere for the event Poonam Shah along with Presenter Rubeena Begum who presented 'Sand Fossils of Al Wathba'. Abhimanue VS presented his travelogue on Georgia titled 'A Georgian Rhapsody'. Sarita Sumaria (on your left) presented 'My Fascination for Nature' . Seen here with presenter Christopher Osborne, ARPS. The trio of Rajesh Pillai, Manoj Kumar VK and Anzal Nazim presented 'Kumbh Mela - An Intangible Heritage'. The presentation was followed by a lengthy question and answer session. The audience were very eager to have the details of this event held in Northern India.The photo contest with entries from Shutter Bugs Creative Forum was judged in the presence of the audience by Christopher Osborne, ARPS, Alan Millin and Manu Reghurajan, ARPS.The top award for this photo contest was bagged by Zahoor uddin Khan (for his photograph above).

The event also had display of memorabilia; the personal collection of the Chapter Organiser, vintage equipment, The RPS journals and assorted magazines dated 1940 to 1960.

The Masterpieces section included prints by Dr. G.Thomas, FRPS, C.Rajagopal, FPRS, Waman Thakre, FRPS, B.Srinivasa, FRPS and H.Satish, ARPSThe event also featured the camera sensor and lens cleaning service by Specialist Technique General Trading LLC experts Kishore Soni and Napolean.

International exhibition/salon awards, International distinctions (ICS - Image Colleague Society International and MoL - Master of Light Photographic Association) were presented.
