Visit the beautiful South Downs in an area protected by the National Trust. Capture light as it sculpts the shape of light over these magnificent hills and find plenty of new compositions as you pass over each individual hill along the South Downs way. We will walk around the Dyke first to get photographs before exploring the surrounding area and various viewpoints.

To keep us going we will stop for a meal at the Devils Dyke Pub at around 6pm (not included in event ticket price).

Please bring / wear:

  • Camera, Tripod and Filters
  • Walking Shoes, Windbreaker and appropriate clothing for the weather conditions

The Downs terrain is quite hilly, so lots of walking on footpaths and hilly, uneven ground. Some rocky paths but most areas are easy to walk on. Expect hiking of around 5-6 miles throughout the day.

There will be a parking charge at Devils Dyke Car Park - currently £3 for all day.

Toilet facilities: there are toilet facilities at the pub – otherwise nearest bush.

This will be a category B event for up to 6 participants.
